Egg #1 hatched on the 16th. Awww, naked little pink thing. Had to buy a nest box though as it is warmer than a food dish. I'll try to get pictures up sometime soon.
UPDATE
. . . aand the chick died. Apparently the bird wasn't feeding it. I half-expected this to happen because she's not the brightest bulb and this was her first clutch. All my calls and research said to give the parents 2-3 weeks to care for them before any hand-feeding but I guess I'll have to start right as they hatch. So right now I'm trying to find a syringe small enough to feed them because their mouths are SO tiny.

Egg #2 hatched this morning
I managed to feed it this time with chick food and it ate it right up until its crop was full (the crop is that little pouch birds store food in). I never anticipated I'd be a bird breeder of sorts. I actually wanted to be a vet when I was little but I liked art more, which is why you see anthro art all over my gallery. So yay, I think I'm getting the hang of this.
