I actually watched a documentary on the American Prohibition. Man, interesting stuff. Believe it or not, some churches were opposed to the Prohibition of alcohol. Especially Catholics Kinda needed it for Communion.
Of course I'd be doing my drawing and I LOVE to dance (bet I can out-dance Ivy). I actually did some swing dancing in college and had a ball. I'd be a person of colour but I don't know how racism would translate with cats *scratches head*
Given the Bible student I am, if I were around back then, I'd probably be arguing with the two passages referenced. John 2 details Jesus turning water to wine. Psalm 114 describes how God gave us various things to enjoy, wine being one of them (proof it ain't grape juice; grape juice doesn't "gladden the heart" like wine does). So I wouldn't call it the "devil's drink." Like many things, it's the abuse thereof that's the problem.
People were even posing as ministers to traffic the alcohol. When I heard there were some black rabbis, I cracked up.
Hey! Grape juice gladdens my heart! I love grape juice! (Wine, on the other hand...doesn't. )
Anyhow, neat design, and I like how you portrayed the Lackadaisy style with your own mixed in there. I think I like the one on the far right best, although the one in the "party dress" looks very nice, too. Both poses are great!

Thank you.
