T'was inspired by this part of Whisper of the Heart by Studio Ghibli [link] I adore this movie. If you haven't seen it, you should. I'd BUY it. I had that Country Roads song stuck in my head when I was doodling here. It just makes you long for some good old-fashioned fun.

I love the sound of the violin so this was pure win to me. That and anime doesn't usually animate people playing instruments and singing so well.

So yay, maybe I'm drawing the fun I can't have right now ^^;

In order of left to right, top to bottom: Norma (mouse), Argot (mouse), Trevor (terrier pup), Vigot (mouse), Roger (some kind o' terrier), & Emily (raccoon).

Roger's the owner of the tavern, I love how he and his kid, Trevor came out (gotta love them Scotts). :XD: I feel like Roger should be playing some sort of wind instrument. Ah well, next time.

Whisper of the Heart was a great movie. ^_^ I got a kick when I heard a John Denver Song sung in Japanese in the credits.
