I've never drawn Sanosuke before so go easy on me (his head looks too small and the hand is just wrong). His chicken hair is crazy. XP
Probably my favourite character from Rorouni Kenshin. I dunno, I'm just captivated when he fights and his attitude is funny. Something about fists impresses me more than swords, at least with him. And watching episodes 68 and onwards didn't help any
Sano seemed smitten with a Hanare Kirishitan (separated Christian) woman named Sayo. Check out those episodes, I swear the script was like a movie. It's really interesting. It teaches a bit about Christianity in Japan in the Edo period to the late 1800's (with artistic license of course). It doesn't leave out the wierd cult activity that may have sprung up in the absence of European missionaries (the Japanese govt. banned them). Sayo was in a cult and was sincerely mislead.
Anyway, Sano!

Yeah. The SHimabara arc was probably the oly part I liked. The Feng Shui arc was the WORST. XP
Thanks! I actually read some of the manga at the bookstore and the art style in there is REALLY nice, so I tries to emulate the hatching and stuff more.
still, nice picture! he always did have wierd hair, but you got it down well in your style.
I agree with the hand, but oh wellz.
I actually wasn't all that jazzed about those epidsodes...>_> they just wierded me out and stuff. *shrugs* So I didn't bother buying that season. XD
Although the relationship between he and Sayo was actually really nice.

It was sooo stupid..it went from like, "OMGOSH SWORD FIGHTIN'" to..."Feng Shui....riiiiight..."
