It's just been sitting there so I decided to get off my lazy bum and scan some things.
Like her Biblical namesake, she is a judge and a warrior. She is modeled after a Major Michell's Cockatoo (see photos). When I saw it I said "THAT's HER". And I found this bird AFTER I did my initial doodles of her. What are the odds I'd find a pink parrot that would perfectly fit her design?
And yes, thankfully she can collapse her crest because that is a LOT of head feathers.
She can fight like a hawk but is still quite a lady. I appreciate that dichotomy and I think that's what makes women unique. I don't like the modern feminism where women are basically trying to be men (while portraying them like oafs), instead of being the fullest women we can be, wives, mothers and so much more.
All my anthro works are actually in the same universe just in different time periods or places. This takes place a few thousand years before Caige and actually has some influence on it's plot.
"it's almost like a self-hatred rather than self-esteem"
Sure feels like it sometimes =/ Many of these modern femme groups continue speaking and acting like victims and encouraging other women to think the same. They even pass off further victimization/objectification as "empowerment." Pfft.

Something funny I found about her, is that my older sister is also named Deborah. xD
I've always wondered about (some) feminist ideals; it's almost like a self-hatred rather than self-esteem.
