Did this a while back for a project. It was never used but I like it muchly. I tried to work on making Bunnie legs look more mechanically logical. Like with metal plating and segmented joints so she can move normally.
Yeah Bunnie was meant to be more sugary southern belle than sultry (though she has the potential for it) I think it's because Bunnie doesn't use her female assets to be manipulating.
... I remember having an old kid's book that was the origin story of her limbs and her "Rabbot" name... It was a pun Sonic made to lighten her mood after it happened, because in the story, prior to some modifications by Robotnik, Power Rings could outright cure Robotization. After he modified the device, not so much...
Still, I will admit some part of my likes the corniness of her last name, prior to marriage to Antoine, being pronounced "Rabbeaux", according to the train-wreck that is Archie comics.
Really? I never heard that story and I have the comic issue when that happened to her. I like the version you described much better, has more heart to it.
Seriously. In the comics, she has an uncle that confirms that pronouncement. Her originally surname in the kids' book was simply "Rabbit" prior to the mood-lightening pun. XD Also, I love what she says to her comrades.

It's been a while, so that's not an exact quote, but... It's heartwarming.
Not to be picky, but Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was a different cartoon that was a lot more comedy and slapstick oriented. SatAM's actual title is just "Sonic the Hedgehog."
Next to Sally, Bunnie is my 2nd most favorite ever character in SatAM. Witty, humorous, yet ready for action. You have done a swell job on this lineart!

IMO, Bunnie Rabbot is one of the FEW US-made chars that deserves to be written into the video-game franchise. ...well, that is, if they could get that franchise out of the mud of course.
Hmm... I guess Bunny's more of a tomboy than Sally, but Sally seems kind'a tomboyish when compared to her younger self. I'm looking at everything backward. ^_^"
That's an interesting point. I guess Bunnie might be more girly than Sally. ^_^" I think she's more "let's kick butt" ish, but that could just be because of the arm and legs...
